2020 TOURNAMENT CANCELLED!
PLEASE FOLLOW THE FACEBOOK PAGE FOR FURTHER UPDATES!
We are the annual world record status Bucks or Bounty Archery tournament. Run on the weekend of the first May bank holiday, we are hosting Stage 1 of the Archery GB National Tour 2020.
We give entrants a choice of whether to shoot for trophies (Bounty), as is the norm, or to shoot for money (Bucks). The tournament itself has grown year on year and the popularity of the Bucks category has followed suit. The 2020 tournament will have the largest sponsor contribution yet and we encourage you to support our sponsors and talk to their representatives on the weekend. |

The 2020 tournament will also incorporate the second stage of the Tokyo Paralympics Selection. 2018 saw some of the best weather to come out of Lilleshall and was a hugely successful tournament being the first to host a National Tour stage. This year our second day competitors will shoot the World Archery Double 720 round as a Tier 2+ tournament, with more ranking points on offer.
The small team shown down the page runs the shoot like clockwork. A lot of work goes into organising a shoot like this, not to mention the weekend itself. We have a great group of Staffordshire archers, parents of archers, keen onlookers and the like that volunteer their time to help us out on the weekend and they do a brilliant, and invaluable, job. The profit following each tournament is distributed to the local archery affiliations of our work party. Whilst hosting the National Tour we offer particular and huge thanks to Robert Potts who takes over from Stuart in managing all of the scoring (so that Stuart can compete)!
Our judging team does change some each year. We are committed to providing an opportunity for judges to go through their assessments, and have been able to do that for numerous judges over the past few years, and will continue to do so. The team is always well received and they do an excellent job for us the whole weekend, always doing that bit more to help us out when necessary.
