We are the annual world record status Bucks or Bounty Archery tournament. The tournament runs on the first May bank holiday every year, this year on the 29th April and 30th April. We are, once again, hosting Stage 1 of the Archery GB National Tour on Day 1 and Day 2 will now be another Tier 1 720 & H2H.
We give entrants a choice of whether to shoot for trophies (Bounty) or for money (Bucks). The tournament itself has grown year on year and the popularity of the Bucks category has followed suit. Every year we are looking for more companies to support our tournament, to boost our prize funds and help us run a profitable shoot so that the clubs that receive the profits can benefit more. If you are interested, or know someone who might be interested, in sponsoring our tournament, this year or in the future, please get in touch! |

The tournament has rebounded well since COVID and this year we're looking to make the tournament bigger and better than ever before. Last year's trial of finals fields went well so more features like this are planned for the future! We can offer the most national ranking points of any shoot too, with Stage 1 of the National Tour on day 1 and another tier 1 720 & H2H on day 2, and we're running all of the World Archery recognised 720s including cadet and barebow rounds.
The small team shown down the page runs the shoot like clockwork. A lot of work goes into organising a shoot like this, not to mention the weekend itself. We are always looking for people that can join our small group of volunteers that offer their time to help us out on the weekend and do a brilliant, and invaluable, job. The profit following each tournament is distributed to the local archery affiliations of our work party. Whilst hosting the National Tour we offer particular and huge thanks to Robert Potts who takes over from Stuart in managing all of the scoring.
Our judging team does change some each year. We are committed to providing an opportunity for judges to go through their assessments, and have been able to do that for numerous judges over the past few years, and will continue to do so. The team is always well received and they do an excellent job for us the whole weekend, always doing that bit more to help us out when necessary.
